Its from germany but its pretty cheap, I have been using just a hang on filter thats a really cheap brand. Its been doing a good job of keeping my water clear but it does't move the water around much so I have lots of stuff that just sinks to the bottom and stays there so then I have to take a fish net and fish it all out. I am hoping a canister filter will help with not having to do this all the time???

I was in the same boat as you. Looking at that white filter w/ UV sterilizer on ebay for 100 bucks. Thing that turned me off was finding replacement parts. I searched high and low and couldn't find anything. Unless your in china or japan your fubared. I'll stick with rena, fluval, or ehiem.
