Hi currently i have two tanks filled with water for my turtles. One tank is 80 gallons and the other is 125 gallons. These tanks both have turtles in them. What heaters would be adequate to heat these tanks???

If your room temperature is in the 70s, then you should be able to get away with a 300W for each. If your room temp is usually cooler than that, then you may need a secondary heater for the 125 gallon. I use a 300W each in my 75 and 90 gallon tanks.

Petsmart had this awesome all pastic Fluval filter for a 125 gallon tank for only $55 on sale. It had a digital LCD that showed the temp too.

just make sure the heaters are shatter proof, most are.
I've always wanted to buy some visitherm heaters, just because I've seen it recommended so many times, but I've never had the need since my first heater

my heater has little black fish pics on it and I noticed they are falling off in the water.... its a submersible heater so I thought that was kind of odd....

Yes. i have two of them, they both run perfectly and are very reliable. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have had a visi therm stealth as well and the thermostat went out after about 5 months.

i bought a theo 400 watt and a theo 300 watt. also ordered a python no spill clean n fill. im excited. all i need to buy next is a beast filter. thinkin xp4 or fx5

I just setup my XP4. Man what an awesome filter. I was looking at the FX5 but the thing is just so big. I opted for the XP4 (Rated for 265gal tanks, great cust service, 450GPH).

Yea but if you can afford the size, the FX5 would be a better way to go. Loaded down with media it still pumps about 625-650GPH.

Cool. Another downside for me was how much media the FX5 required. Either way you'll be happy! My painter will live the rest of her life in the 75Gallon so the XP4 is fine for her. I'll probably get an FX5 to replace my 404 once I upgrade the sliders.
