I bought a used FX5. Missing intake strainer, strainer tube, rim connector clips to hold hose, rubber connectors for intake strainer and discharge nozzle.

So my delimea is what to use from canister quick disconnects to the discharge nozzle and what to do about hoses/tubing for intake?

Suggestions. I have the discharge nozzle but no strainer. What to use for strainer?

Anything out there to get other than expensive replacement parts?

Apprecaite input on what others have done for these issues. :?:  :?

I'd use PVC and create a spray-bar like intake pipe. I'm not sure what the FX5 comes with, what about standard hose clamps?

I'm pretty sure the hoses are metric. You can buy cheap clear/black metric hose online. I do not know the size? The only problem would be to keep them from kinking on the tank rim.

If that's the case, I'd check a local plumbing store. I can't imagine much savings with online purchases.
