Does anyone on the board use this, I have a feeling I jumped the gun, I purchased one the other day and I have been uneasy about it ever since. I haven't put the tank together yet, but I am wondering if I should take it back and spend the money for a real stand. :?

I'm not sure what that stand looks like but some metal stands are very strong. If you feel uneasy about it, then it might be better to get a stronger one that you can feel good about. Is it wobbly or weak?

Good for you. If it concerned you then it probably wasn't right.

Smart move. That's one of the things that creeps me out is the thought of a fish tank (or television for that matter) coming crashing down on a small child. You can never be too safe when it comes to kids.
