So Zeke is in his new larger tank now and is one very happy boy!

If this isn't a picture of complete ecstasy...I don't know what is! He is just loving EVERY minute of his new tank....probably the most water he's ever had. Just 27 Gallons in a 30 Gal Tank but he has much much more swimming
room.
Image
Look at all this room! He's all stretched out! Can't wait till he gets the right size of tank.

Image
My Husband created a circular current with the filter and Zeke is having a ball 'riding the waves'. Right now he is 'hunting' in the rocks for some Brine Shrimp.....boy is he having a ball...he is feeling better I would think.

cute Zeke is in total turtle ecstasy. I think the 2nd picture is a great example for people who think turtles are expressionless!

looks nice! but what do you have between the lamp and the basking spot? Just curious, because if you have the UVB, it'll be blocked by the glass there.

Looks nice though!

Actually he has a new basking dock now, but before there was nothing over the basking dock, and there is nothing over the basking dock now.

Judging on your turtle, my Cortez's nails are not long at all.... this whole time I thought my turt was a boy.... but Cortez must be a girl!! I am such a bad mother!

This website has helped me learn so much.... so if she is a girl, does that mean she would be less likely to attack a smaller turtle?
THANKS!

You go, Zeke!!!! Enjoy!

My habitat is better since I got all the gravel out. I am using the floating island by Pet-Tech to create more ample swimming space and Shea (young adult turtle) is happy, too.

Nope, unfortunately. The females can be just as aggressive as the males when it comes to attacking a larger or smaller turtle.
