I put my turtles in a different tank while I clean there normal tank. One of my turtles about 5” shell length pushed through the plexiglas divider and ate two 3” bull sharks. The skin around her legs is puffing out and you can see one is still sitting in her throat. Her breathing is wheezy sounding.

Oh my goodness! I just opened this thread and I see it's been several hours since you posted. Hopefully the situation has resolved itself. I don't know what you could do about the situation. One thing that comes to mind is that you should keep the turtle that ate the two fish separated form the other at least until she's back to normal.

Well, I’m thinking she will be alright, it’s a full day later and she is still alive. The fish is still in her throat and she can’t pull her head all the way into her shell. I’m just wondering how long until I should feed her. She still seems very interested in food.

i would say take her to the vet if her breathing is being affected.

2redsand -- Yep it's vet time. It will have to in or out. Having it half way down makes it difficult to digest. Let's hope that he digest what is down and he can throw it up or swallow it.--??

Yes, definitely vet time if she's still struggling in the morning. No more food for awhile until the sharks are completely gone and digested. I'd say until a couple of days after you can't see any evidence of the sharks at all - breathing ok, head pulls into the shell, nothing evident in the throat.

Well, I pulled out a good size chunk, I let her bite the handle of a tooth brush to prop her mouth open, and I grabbed what I could with a tweezers. So there is nothing in her throat now. her breathing has been back to normal for a couple days now. she has been sleeping a lot both under water and while basking. she still gets excited when i get the food out, but I’ve been feeding the other turtle by hand so she don't get any.
Thanks for all of your suggestions!
