I cleaned out the tank w/ bleach,t houroughly rinsing/scrubing it with hot & warm water so i hope that was okay. But what causeed this? I dont have any feeder fish... DOes this mean my turt has worms or how else do worms get there??????

Very very thin, kinda vanilla colored and both long and short. I have been feeding cod liver oil w/ the food but in a separate tank, and on occasion just the food in the tank but this has never happened before.

Try to feed out of the tank and see if they come back. If you have aquatic plants in the tank, they could be planaria, which are harmless. How often do you clean the tank and change the water? Do you feed live food like feeder fish?

If there's no food in the tank and you're keeping the water clean but they still come back, they could be from your turtle. If you think they are, you could bring a fecal sample to the vet to be tested for parasites.

After that thourough cleaning i was hoping they wouldnt reappear. 2 days later; more worms. But my mom said she noticed one. When i looked there was nothing, but i figured she probubly ate it. Ive got to give her to Mary asap, so she can get vet care... I got pics of the turtle rescue place. The pond looks like a HUGE lake with lots of turtles. They have like 5 acres of ponds.. I know pebbles will be happy there ;). I just hope that after i told her about the possible paracites, that she'll still take her.
