For one, he definitely needs more water. Fill the tank up to 1/2-3/4 full. Just make sure he can't escape. And two, if those are dry shell pics, then the condition of the shell is okay... the shape, however, I don't know.

Your feeding him too many shrimp
It should be considered a treat

Feed him 3 or 4 shrimp every 2 weeks or so

I think hes starting to pyramid, due to the excess protien intake from the shrimp

He gets protien from pellets everyday so giving shrimp everyday will be too much

Feed him many veggies in replacement

It wouldnt go back to normal, but the sooner you can fix his diet, the better.

There are varieing degrees of severity but your turtles will be fine

Looks like overfeeding to me. Cut back on the amount of pellets you are giving him to once every 2 days (instead of every day) & add lots of green lettuce & other non-sweet veggies daily. As someone once pointed out, they can't get fat on lettuce! LOL!

I would cut shrimp completely out of the diet (for now at least) give mostly veggies and a few pellets every other day. And since he appears to be overfed on protein, skip the worms for now too.
