You're quite welcome. I'm glad I could help. It's nice to see you're taking an interest in your child's turtles.

As for the begging, any turtle owner knows what that is and sometimes its darn hard to resist giving in. What sort of things are you feeding them?? Feeding outside the tank is a good idea but don't be concerned if they won't do it.

Good idea to feed in a separate container but dont stop once you upgrade your system. in the long run your tank will be much less work to keep clean if you always feed them separately. Good luck!

I got my Rubbermaid at PetSmart Fir about $80 (Much cheaper than a comperable sized aquarium!!)
