I am a proud father of 2 turtles. Squirt our Yellow Bellied Slider and Turtlini our hatchling Red Eared Slider. I've had my turts for about 9 months or so. Though I've a long history with reptiles since I was a kid. I used to raise snakes in my home outside of Buffalo. However, since growing up, I got married and my wife won't even think about letting me have snakes or lizards... Turtles she's OK with... We moved to NC 8 years ago and this past spring a hatchling about the size of a silver dollar was rescued in our garage. She was dehydrated and didn't look too good. we nursed her back to health and now she's the queen of the tank...
