Purple is available right?

Yeah they have purple as well

I've also seen yellow sand at my home depot in canada. Tho, yellow might look a bit wierd in a fish tank. I think yellow is meant for sandboxes...So you can't tell when your kid pees in it. lol.
Anyways, after reading everything in here I rushed off to get some sand and found blue! So that'll be my goal today, cleaning it and putting it in Lola's tank. =)

Chrisbarnett - how bags of those colored sand do you think i'd need? i used the sand calculator & it said i would need about 30 lbs of sand for my 50 gallon. i don't know lbs that how many that 1 bag of green sand is, but that would probably mean i'd need a lot of those right? lol.

At $5 a bag it's cheap

yeah they are 20lb bags. you could probably get away with one bag, although it would be a little thin. I would recommend two bags.

no they only come in green, purple, and blue.

But you can get white from petsmart(sorta pricey) or you can find it at certain hardware stores.

I think green and black would look sweet. Black sand at petsmart(Tahitian Moon Sand) is about $18 for 20lbs though.

i went to walmart today, but they only had the purple sand because it's out of season now :(. i tried using their website, but it doesn't seem to be loading anything about your particular play sand. i've been searching online but i can't find any sites that sell this sand :(. according to crayola, this is a "new to market" product & is only being sold at Walmart. do you (or anyone else) know any sites or places i could buy it from?

I bought it at OSH(Orchard supply hardware) don't know if they have em where you live?

Yes, 30lbs would be good. That's about what I used in my 55g for a general sand depth of 1".
