1.0.0 RES-Slash
1.2.0 Cat-Abby/Cali/Nemo
0.1.0 Yorkie-Lucie
1.0.0 Jack Russell Terrier-Cooper
I have lots of ideas! Trouble is, most of them suck!

PcBuilder,

That says black moon sand, it didn't look black in your tank, (If that's the sand you had in your tank at the time you posted that picture). If it is the same sand then it looks really good in your aquarium. I just bought some Quikrete white play sand, so I'm going to see how this goes and looks.

*Crosses fingers*

Oh, I'm sorry. That makes me feel dumb now, lol. I put the Quikrete play sand in with my fish tank and turtle tank. Looks really pretty! My Aunt said she liked the pebbles and rocks better. ^.- I'll post some pictures if I ever find out how. :)

I just wanted to say that being a new turtle mom and trying to figure out different things, one being what to use on the bottom of the tank, and having so many questions on sand and not exactly getting the idea of how it all worked and what to do with it.... this helped me greatly, I now know what it takes to use sand and I believe that is what we are going to get now. It looks so much better in the tanks and much better for the turtles.

Just to let everyone know that I appreciate you guys and this website is the very best possible. :)

Awesome post! This was what inspired me to switch Roca's tank to a sand bottom. I used pool filter sand.

That looks great.

Are you using the Hydor Koralia powerhead? if so what size, and how do you like it?

Thanks.

I would think they have it in the outdoors section, or the childrens play stuff area? You could PM Zoologist and ask her what section she found it in.

Although it could be a seasonal item. :?

Well I PM'ed Zoologist and she said she found it in the outdoor section and it isn't a seasonal item. Maybe your walmart just doesn't carry it? Although that's odd, usually when a chain store has something, they all have it. :?
