The brown skin could very well be normal coloring. Maybe look up some photos of these species on Google images, and if the majority or all of them have brown skin then, it's basically normal.

I love the yawning photo, and that tail is awesome. Reminds me a lot of a snapper.

I've googled images for the Golden Thread Turtle and they not have the brownish skin.. when they get bigger, the skin looks like other turtle such RES or YBS. I think is a first baby skin .. need sometimes to fully shed maybe

Thank you its hard to find this turtle actually.. not every petshop, fish shop or whatever shop will sell this turtle.. only few in my state.

I dunno how to express my feeling at this moment because this little baby not scared at me at all.. he not even shy or try to hide. So I quickly shoot some cute photos of him.. awwww... But.. we play first~!














After playing with his pellet.. finally he got the pellet!
