That is a very nice turtle topper!!! Definitely something I want to do with the next/final upgrade.

I know that everyone says that Gravel doesnt work, but I really love how easy it makes cleaning the tank, and I like how it looks. Sammy never has any interest in eating it.

The one issue I have had is keeping a background well secured on the tank. I used that seaview stuff and it doesnt work for crap. One of these days when I do a big cleaning I will drain the tank down all the way and try to re-do it.

I got a "cling" for my background instead of a background. It looks the same and in my opinion works better. Easiest way to put them on is to lay the tank flat and spray the back of the tank with water then use a credit card or squeegee to smooth it out. Cut off the excess if there is any and it looks great. Just look at my build thread for pictures. You can get a cling that will go up to 75 gallons in size I think.

75 Gallon for Turkleton.

He also has a grate underneath the pond rock which houses a city of about 4 dozen ghost shrimp. He gets one once in a while, but it helps to keep it at a steady pace. If you haven't tried ghost shrimp, try them. They will eat everything that is left over in the tank. Between the filter and the shrimp, his tank stays pretty much crystal clear. For the ABTA, we wanted as clean a look as possible because he gets to live in our living room. Let me know what you guys think!

I'm keeping a look out for that background. It looks so natural

Yesterday my Wife found the perfect pieces for my ATBA. My last one was made of a hard white oak..but with it being wood, i didnt want to keep it there for very long, and during my last cleaning i found what looked to be water damage to a platform..So i started from scratch. The pieces she found me were some Hard plastic shelves, made of a thick ABS, Shatter resistand and hard as nails. Just so happens the have interlocking grooves and parts, it was like playing with legos.
One of my favorite parts of the hobby, designing :) I just Built this ATBA Tonight, and in the time it took for me to find my phone to take pictures, ms Julliette has already climbed back on her perch...

Romeo was begging for a picture, mine arnt shy, and like the flash.

Ramp up, it's a piece of PVC, that i melted to the shape of a log, with a ramp, one day im supposed to make it look more natural!

The Whole Shebang, sorry its cloudy, i stirred up my sand real bad moving in the crate i am using for shallow water.. this is 10 minutes after not being able to see in the tank!

that is the corner that the windows has solacryl in it. Due to the lack of UV these 2 had when i got them, i figured all the extra they can get wont hurt.

I do have UVB bulbs, they arnt up in the -pictures yet. the plan is to put mirrors on the roof, and work on the decor... i am also waiting to change the whole left side out with Glass and solacryl... just have to wait on time and a bit of cash.

90g tank for a 9"ish RES. It's just a bare tank at the moment, but I may end up putting some stuff in there for decoration. Turtley keeps moving the filter intake. :/
The ATBA is based off of VeipaCray's. Turtley went up there the same night we got it. So cute. <3

The lower portion's top is actually a door. We have it off at the moment because it was warping. First we'll try to reinforce it somehow and if that doesn't work we'll just leave it off. It looks too high for Turtley to be able to climb out that way. I'll be switching the light out for a light hood at some point. :)

Would love to see the rest of the setup in comparison to the ATBA.

Wanna get a sense of the size of it.
