I just bought 12 pounds of this for less than 20$ shipped. That is the best price that I have found, has anyone else used it? Is it any good?

Here it is

That is a sauce bowl so it is decently small.

The stuff is very, very dirty. Bags, carbon, everything so make sure you wash it. But comparing to Marineland at 2.5 pounds for 20 dollars this is les than a fifth of the price, very, very good deal.

OK I'm confused. I used the link above and tried to buy from merchant at top of page and it said $28.86 for 4 bags.? How are you getting free shipping? It used to sell for $4 a bag free shipping.

The price has gone up since I posted. I paid 3.24 a bag plus 5.91 for shipping or something very close. Apparently they weren't happy about me and veipa bleeding them dry. Lol

Yea,about 11 months ago Amazon carried it for 4 bucks with free shipping. I bought 10 bags back then. Still though even now $7 for 3 pounds isn't bad.

When I bought it, It was the same shipping for 4 bags. So the shipping was 5$ something for 1 bag, or 4. Not sure if that is still the same.

Yep, there was dust on the outside of the bags. I just gave it a quick rinse in the sink and threw it in the filter. It didn't discolor the water or anything.
