Habitat - Indoor :: glacier purified water...

Is glacier purified water okay for my RES ? I been using it for a few months now
My baby RES now has puffy eyes sometimes one stays closed and he is sleeping everytime I see him
I feed him baby dried shrimps
Im a new turtle owner and trying to figure if im doing good

It's probably not necessary. For most of us, tap water treated with carbon will do the job. Can you give more details about his setup?

Oh okay cool and well his tank is around five gallons
His water is about 4 in tall and he has a lil staircase with a rock for him to bask
The tank came with a top that I out a light in
My water was no filter it gets murky really fast
And lastly I feed him dried shrimps

Need to feed pellets of some type. What kind of light are you using? Tank needs more water bigger tank would also be nice. You need a filter and water heater.

Do you have a UVB light? Has he been eating?
