Hey guys, it's been a few years! Here's the situation. My 2, very large 14 year old girls were in an 150 gallon tank. I FINALLY made the cross country move to California but didn't bring the tank. (By the way, they did amazing on the trip). So now they need a new tank.
Now that I don't live out in the middle of no where, I have access to stock tanks. My original plan was (and still is...long term ) to get a 300 gallon pond outside when we get a house. However, for the next 12 months, we are in a 600 sq apt :/. Long story but it's the best we could do.
I know it is too small, but I was thinking I would do a 75 gallon for now because they are long rectangles instead of round. I know all about the rules guys..10 gallons per inch of shell...but I am truly trying my best here.
Do I need to be worried about the weight of the tank? It is a 1st floor apartment. I kinda didn't tell them about the tank because we were on the verge of being homeless :/. Any ideas?
