Alright cool, i was actually thinking to do the same thing, for now i have them in place but i want to use the fluval clips. Im loving it so far! Cant beleive how quiet it is.

kansasslider, do you have your stock tank raised up?

Yes its about 9" tall. Built out of 2x8,s stood on their sides with plywood on top. Glad you like the filter.

As you can see I cut it a little wider than it needed to be. Oops! You really can't even tell its cut. I wanted to use the clamps that came with the filter but couldn't figure how else to do it other than cut the plastic. Once the hose is in there it really looks good. Maybe you can think of another way other than cutting the plastic. I thought about mounting a piece of wood or plexi to let the bracket sit on but I thought cutting the plastic was the easiest thing to do.

Maybe I could just get a magclip and put on a really big clip to hold the tubing. :)

Yea, Maybe. Or you could just modify your tank? I'm not a big fan of big clips. But who is?
