I kinda had the same idea kansasslider had just slip em into your back pack doesnt sound like the teacher would notice and your mom would probaby be proud of you for saving those babies. lol they can't send you to juvie if they can't prove it ;P

Just to put it out there.. I've seen people "hibernate" their RES by putting them in a cool, empty tank. A lot of the healthy ones survive, but I obviously do not consider it ideal or humane.

I highly doubt he's trying to hibernate them. How long can those turtles even survive without food and water and living in the amount of waste that they are?

The turtles weren't moving at all today in class. I was scared to see if they're even still alive.

A few months ago I tried to tell him they need better care and he just kind of shrugged it off because he has a major on environmental sciences or whatever. And that he "knows best".

Those teachers are the worst that think they know everything just because they have a science degree
