Habitat - Indoor :: Visitherm heaters

Has anyone bought one lately? I've had three of them burn out on me in less than three months. I'm using 100w heaters in a 29 gallon tank, which is what I've always done with no problem. I finally just gave up and ordered an Eheim, but I'm wondering if my experience is consistent with anyone else's.

Noooo, don't use Visitherm. Do you still have any of their Stealth heaters? All of them have been recalled. You can ship it back to them for free and they'll send you a check.

Eheim is good and what I use. A lot of people like Aqueon. They also have the Aqueon Pro, which has a lifetime warranty and I'm going to try it as my next heater.

All Aqueon heaters carry a lifetime warranty. I guess that's what makes them popular.

Aqueon heaters are really long for some reason.

Regular glass Visitherm heaters are fine. It's the stealth and stealth pro that were recalled.

+1 Eheim. The gold standard for aquarium heaters.
