I finally got my new 40 gallon bow front set up and ready to go! I wish you all could've seen Bubbles. She freaked out a bit at first, but she was soon distracted by the minnows. :) I decided to go with rock instead of sand (don't worry, the rocks are all WAY too big for her to eat. The ones at the front may look small, but I checked) to go for more of a stream-y look. Over time I might add a few plants, and I will definitely be adding some driftwood later on. I put in a couple rosy red minnows to help keep her occupied as well, and they are doing their job nicely.

Her tank when I got her. It was a 10 gallon with no heater, filter, lights etc. and was only filled a few inches. This tank will probably go to my betta now that it isn't in use.

Her new tank. The rocks appear blue because my phone doesn't take great pictures, but it is so much prettier in real life.

Looks nice! Bow fronts always look great. Is there a bulb for basking heat?

There is both a UV and heat lamp, but I hand't put them on yet for this picture. (I punched out part of the back and covered it wish a bit of mesh). This week I'll be getting some cork bark to make a nicer basking area. :) Most likely I won't be building another above tank one for a little while.

Some drift wood in there would look nice too.
