So I noticed there was some condensation built up on the upper part of the heater, it doesn't go away.. I've been only using it for 10 months.. does it mean that I should get a replacement or what? it's a 300 watt heater btw.

Good question! It might be condensation or oil left during manufacturing. Many say it will continue to work, some say to replace as it the initial signs of failure. You're still under warranty, so you might want to replace it. Also make sure any aquarium electrical equipment is plugged into a gfci outlet.

I've never had one of mine show signs of condensation so I'd vote in the camp of get it replaced under warranty. Better safe than sorry.

Did a replacement and still gotten a faulty one. There's a hairline crack which caused it to condense (maybe).. gettin frustrated with heaters lol.

The lifetime warranty is why I like Aqueon.

Good point. It's a shame Jagers don't carry that anymore.
