Habitat - Indoor :: res not using out of tank basking area

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

Hey, I built my own out of tank basking area. I spent a lot of time on it and made it look pretty nice and am disappointed that my RES turtle isn't using it. Its been two days and I'm worried she's going to get Ill for not having good uvb. I built the basking area out of eggcrate and put little trees in there. The basking area is at 92 degrees F and There's a long ramp at about a 40 degree angle leading from the tank to the basking area. Does anyone have any ideas why my RES isn't basking in her new spot? She used to bask all the time but her basking area was dangerous so I built the out of tank area.

What's the water temp at? If its too warm they wont be enticed to bask.

What's the basking area temp? Can it get there easy? Put some food on the basking area to draw it up on it! Turtles don't like change so it might take a while.

I use photo bucket but there has to be a faster better way for cell phone users like myself? Sorry, not trying to hijack this thread

Try http://m.imgur.com it's very easy but after you upload a picture, they give you a link to delete it only once. I'll look around to see if theres a way the forum can accept it directly.

If I try to upload a picture from my gallery it says file too large on your web site. I have used photobucket for a while and it works great but there are to many steps involved.

Ah, do you know the average size of your pics? There is a modest size limit (to keep the bandwidth down), but it's tricky since phones usually lack the ability to resize images.

Some sites I have no problems posting on. I have no idea of the size of them just that I can't upload them on res. I can also e- mail and text them. But, my phone compresses them when doing so.

Edit: From what I can tell picture size varies from around 2.0-4.4 mb. They are jpeg format would that matter? I know photo bucket just changes format not size. Or at least that's what I think they do? Ha ha had to go look! They convert to Img? I'm not pc lingo savvy so I have no idea what photobucket does but it works.
