Hello , I'm new to raising turtle and i wonder if this is shell rot because it looks weird and i can't find information about it on the internet , those brown spots next to his darker brown spots under his shell , thanks

How big is your turtle? 1.75 inch
How long have you had it?3 weeks

What is the water temperature? 78
Did you use a thermometer? yes
Are you using a water heater? only when it drop below 75
How much water is in there? 3/4 of a tank
Are you using a water conditioner? yes , reptisafe
Are you using any filtration? yes HOB 400gph for 90 gallon , i have another canister that is 256 gph for 75 gallon as well

What is the basking temperature? 85 - 90 depends on time of day
Is there a basking light? yes
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? yes
What kind is it or what is it made out of? it's the commerical floating lilly platform with wooden plank as bridge , my dock is coming on the 19th
Is there a UVB light? yes reptiglo 5.0 13 watts

What have you been trying to feed it? i feed him pellets 5 at 10 and around 8pm i give him red leaf lettuce , sometime romaine
When was the last time your turtle ate? 3 hours ago
How big is the tank/pond/enclosure? tank is 55 gallon
Is the tank near a window? no
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity? it's in my bed room

Have you read the Basic Care section? yes
Have you searched the forums for similar situations? yes

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? he nose dive to the bottom of the tank alot ,sometime bask for a few minutes then dive down again , his feets are shedding i think

They will loose those patterns and those blotches will get darker and bigger... it's normal. Was he swimming upside down or was the photo taken from under the tank? They should never be upside down in water.

that's when he's at the top of tank , i used my finger to lure him then i snapped the pic when he's at the top of the tank =D he wasn't harm , also he kept shedding his skin and i think 1 of his scute came out the other day , its been 2 weeks now since he started shedding is this normal , when will it go away? today when i saw him bask i see his scutes are dry and kinda flaky , thanks

The frequency of shedding is unpredictable, but its good when it happens.
