My question is how does my water look and should I be feeding my turtles more than once a day?

How long has your tank had water in it and whats the temp? Does it get a lot of sunlight? Is there carbon in your filter? What is your water source? The water should be clear. I would do at least a 50 percent water change for starters. How old are your turtles? Do you feed them in the tank? How many turtles do you have in the tank?

Have you checked the parameters? Petco and Petsmart will perform the basic tests if you don't have a kit.

How much are you feeding them? How big are they? What size tank? What do you have for water flow/filtration? How often do you perform water changes and what is the water source?

Is there an echo in here? Watch the vid I gave you and you will get a better understanding about water and what can go wrong and how to fix it.

I have 3 turtles about 8 months old, and I feed them once a day in the tank, I'm going to try to get them in the practice of eating in a container...my water source is from my bathtub, I use cold water and heat it to 75 degrees and it stays at that temp...the tank never gets any direct sun as the tank is in my living room...it's a 70 gallon tank with around 60 gallons of water, with two air stones and a brand new Fluval FX6 filter...it's not crazy cloudy I just get super worried when it comes to live animals and always want to make sure I'm giving them exactly what they need

It looks like tannins. Do you have real wood in the tank? What kind of media in your fx? It will take a while for your FX filter To establish beneficial bacteria.

Not to sound gross or anything but if the turtles are making a lot of "messy" waste, it could cause a bit of cloudy water that takes a while to clear up.
