Are there any household items I can use to make a ramp up to the basking area :?: :?

many people have used household items to make a ramp. zookeeper has a current thread going where there was an old turtle dock connected to a locker. I have seen the non-skid shelf liners used, and a variety of other things. I suggest browsing through the photo gallery for other ideas. Just be sure not to use items that are toxic, things that may break off, or into smaller pieces, and items that won't rust.

Yes, gloveman, I've hear of people doing that as well as cutting a small plastic wastebasket at an angle to make a ramp/basking area (I've always had trouble visualizing this, though). A long time ago I used a small plastic shelf for a basking area.
