My turtle Churi likes to sit on the submersive filter...is this safe???

Mine used to hide behind the intake tube on my waterfall filter. I used to worry that they would get stuck, but never had any problems.

My two turtles do the same thing, doesnt seem to be a problem the just chill on there. In fact when i first put it in they tried to take it apart. They should be fine as long as they groves where the water goes in arent to big.

I think they love the vibration or the movement of the water as it's been taken into the filter. Mine do too.

Our turtle used to like to stand on the spray bar and let the streams of water hit her. I guess she figured it was like a jacuzzi or something.
