Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

i was curious if anyone has used this type of "clubhouse" for their turtle tank, i thought they were reasonably priced and if you could figure out a way to put reptile carpet or indoor/outdoor carpet over the wire, it would be a good idea for those of us that dont have the ability to build our own clubhouse, i think the manufacturer is jotco, but when i put in-- tank topper-- in a search engine, martinscages.com comes up also, so what do you think, good idea?or do you see potential problems? any other ideas for the "clubhouse" set-up that would be easy, with little use of power tools(lol), your input would be greatly appreciated, i would like to do this type of set-up pretty soon, but want to research all that i can first! thanks

Looks pretty good, looks like it already has a ramp. :D

Interesting, but it needs to be adapted for something bigger than a 10-gallon tank, I would think. And, that's a pretty steep ramp. I'm also not too crazy about that type of wiring (horizontal only). I think Pkneeyahx has something similar to a clubhouse for his RES. Look at his pictures in the Photo Gallery. (Or maybe he will grace us with his presence here. :D )

I believe that setup is for a gerbil or something similar, notice the water bottle on the right. Another thing about the cage, the turtles will climb the wire with no problem and probably hurt themselves on the way down. :? :?

I had something similar for my rats. Works great for fuzzys, but I would be concerned about the turts catching a leg in the wire and falling. Also I am not aware they make them for anything bigger than a 10 gallon tank, which is way too small for and adult turt.
