He's already basking on it. He seems to be able to adjust to anything.

None of that turtle nervousness.

The whole setup looks great! I only see one thing wrong...there cannot be glass/plastic between the lamp and the basking area. Glass/plastic and some screens will block the uvb rays. Other than that, great job :-)

That's just a regular lightbulb for heat, so the glass doesn't matter. Petri goes outside for UVB.
On top of the PVC is a metal grate from our toaster oven and a piece of plastic place mat. That's just temporary.
I cleaned the tank and filter today. Since I still don't have a stand I changed the filter around so I won't have to stare at it.
