I have posted on here several times and got some answers. My turtle isn't eating. I have had him for a month. I have him in a 10 gallon tank the only thing I don't have is a pump. I ordered a Exo-Terra Terrarium Pump last night on ebay is this a good choice? I was also talking to a lady at the pet store and she told me I needed to get a UVB Bulb. I have been using a daylight blue reptile blub 60watt. I am just really worried about him. Can someone direct me to what kind of UVB bulb I would need on ebay? There is some on there I just wasn't sure what to get. I have a gray light that fits over the screen and holds a bulb. Please message me soon with what I must do. Should I buy another turtle to go with him? He is small about an inch and 3 quarters

You should go to the homepage and read the care instructions on each topic. The lighting you'll need will be described there. You need UVA, household bulb for basking. Also, UVB flourescent, helps with digestion and calcium absorbtion. Can you describe the turtle's habitat? It will help everyone to give you better advise on what you need. Thanks!

I wouldn't order a UVB bulb from ebay. UVB lights only emit UVB rays for approx. 6 months (depends on bulb) and even though the light still works, you have no way of knowing if you are actually getting your moneys worth. I'd buy it new.

You need the UVB light, but I'd purchase it from an online source that can be trusted. www.petsmart.com, www.drsfostersmith.com, and others that have been mentioned. Where you order from depends on the type and style bulb you decide to go with and who has the better price.

Do you want a tube style bulb or a compact style? Compact is going to be the size of a regular light bulb, and it's going to fit in a regular light fitting.

If you get the tube style bulb you are also going to need a hood or a fixture that will hold the bulb.

I was thinking about getting the
PowerSun UV(TM) 100W Bulb from ZooMed for my turtle.
How often do I use this bulb? I hate to leave it on while
I am gone during the day when I am working. Will this
bulb run my power bill up and be too strong for my
turtle?
