Habitat - Outdoor :: Quick Question...

Ponds and other outdoor enclosures.

I wanted to know if it would be bad for Mr.T if he ate a frog. He is in his new pond and and I was just thinking that in the spring we get a few frogs around here. I'm sure they would probably love the pond but what would happen if Mr.T ate one :?:

Some species (may be all, not sure) of frogs/toads are toxic if eaten. My advice would be not to get frogs/toads to put in with him. Fish would be nice and if he ate them it wouldn't do him any harm.

I think she was talking about just those that would wander in of their own accord.. :) I don't know about regular good old american frogs/toads. I do know that most exotic ones are toxic.. hmmm good question :)

Oops. I misread that. Maybe you should find out what kinds of frogs are in your area and do some googling.

This website might help you ID the frog species. Then you can research under that name to find out about toxicity.
