Hey everyone, what's up? To start, my name is Alex and I'm from the Bronx,New York (please don't judge me by the generalization that people from New York are all gangbangers or are lazy, because I'm not). I own 2 pet turtles, Sheila and Sparky but one died sadly because of calcium lack (Sheila). I'm twelve years old but you shouldn't underestimate me (I hate when people do that). I'm mostly into HTMl and web design and plan to be a scientist when I get older. That's pretty much all I have to say unless you have any other questions.

Hi Alex, sorry to hear about Sheila, but that's good you realized the problem so it won't happen with Sparky. We love to see turtle pictures so post some if you'd like . There's a lot of great ideas and info on the site so take a look around.
That's great you want to be a scientist, I'm a science lover myself- I study animal sciences at college. Anyhow, welcome to the site and I hope you find some useful stuff here.

Thanks Erroneous for the offer and mecornell, thanks for the welcomings as well, I hope I can hear more stuff from you Erroneous on programming and some interesting facts that you learn mecornell out of your study in animal science . I want to become either an earth scientist or a chemical scientist( H, He, LI, H,Be,B,C,N,O and the other elements included, something that has to do with the elements). I just find it interesting to see all these kinds of things happen and all for some explanantion that we either know or don't know.

Right now with the we design thing I make websites to share information with people and to make a place where people can hang out, like myspace(btw, my myspace is www.myspace.com/viront). You can check some of my amateur websites out because I'm currently working on my upload and HTML websites.

These websites are pretty much what I did for fun on my spare time and some for school projects. Notice that they are amateur webs so you shouldn't expect a domain name or much from them. One of them isn't completed, the one with the petdata. As I've said before I'm getting into better forms of web design and am becoming better and more proffessional bt uploading and all of that.


Going back to my turtle,Sparky , I'd say that he is pretty hyper these days. His shell is ok and he's eating well. hes an inch tall so i followed the rule and got him a ten inch tank for now. Later on I'll get him a bigger tank.
