What digital cameras are recommended for good shots? I'm most interested in getting those clear pictures of my turtle swimming around without it blurring.

Links and reviews would be helpful. Thx.

Most basic digital cameras, unless you can manually set your shutter speed, automatically select the shutter speed that will give you the best exposure. If the light's not bright enough, the shutter will stay open longer to let in more light, and you'll get more blur. If you want a clear shot with a really basic camera, you can pull it off by having bright enough lighting, which can be tricky indoors, but that's the main thing that's going to cause blurry photos. If you're willing to spend a little money, look for a camera with a shutter priority setting, and set it for 1/250 sec. or faster. That's usually enough to freeze motion unless your turtle is really flying!

My dad got this bad boy for Christmas, and I've used it as much as him. I think it's great! You can really fine tune it to what you're taking a pic of. Plus the digital image stabilization is amazing! Even pics you took while holding the camera in one hand in the back of a bumpy unimog turn out clear!

Oh, my only complaint about this one though is that we have yet to find the battery indicator on it. We just usually throw it in the charger after a day or two of taking pics...

I use my cell phone, Which is a sony ericson k800i Its great cause it auto focuses, But it needs lighting to do this so it won't come out blurry.

A tripod will help the blurriness with taking pics in water.

I have a Canon S3iS model & love it.

Woohoo, I have that as well. I'm glad I got that instead of a DSLR, though that is still on my wish list.
