I'm sorry for your loss, i know it sucks losing a loved one. But you have to understand that these things happen, death is a natural part of life. You took realy good care of your turtle..unfortunately it was her time to go. Dont let this bad experience ruin the joy of getting another turtle. You seem like a realy loving and responsible person, the two main ingredients for a happy turtle and turtle keeper :)

Go out and make another RES happy :D :!:

i know its not the same but as time goes past you will feel it getting easier!

~On a different note, I feel so, so sorry for you! We realy need a memorial board... We realy do.  Try to remember the good times. The times that (if turtles could laugh) you laughed together. Just remember all the happy times. Not any of the sad or bad.
I have two baby RES; Emerald(Emmie or Rocky for short, plus she has green ears!) and Pretty. (Don't ask me about her name. My brother named her. He's only 6 1/2.)

So sorry about the death of your turtle. Ours died as well on Easter day and we can't sleep over the loss of this delightful little pet particularly attached to my husband. Did not know such a small living creature would affect us so much. Christine in Vienna
