Your turtles sound adorable! I can't wait to see the pictures!

Where the names are concerned, I think they are great! The turtles don't mind if their names are a bit unconventional!

I'm very glad you are planning to get them bigger tanks. One thing to think about is rubbermaid tubs or stock tanks. These are nice - turtles like them - and they are way less expensive than glass aquariums. There are lots of good examples on here of people who have good setups with rubbermaids or stock tanks.

Welcome to the forum. I'm so jealous that you are in the carribean! lol Anyways... When I first got my 2 turtles they fought over the basking platform too...luckily they learned to share! You turtles sound adorable and I really like the names for them. Cant wait to see pics

Doesn't it seem like that happens a lot, where the names turn out to be reversed as the turtles get older and their gender becomes apparant?

well ill try my best these days to improve my tank setup, before i get a 50gal one, biggest i can get to be in my room..... and of course move Carlos my betta to the 10gal one, he will be the king..

Sorry it didn't work out with Napoleon. Unfortunately, it's a very familiar story. Lots of people have had turtles that got along when they were small but when they grew up they started fighting, then there's usually nothing you can do about it but separate them.
