I'd try to get each inlet and outlet opposite each other, or as far apart as possible.

would two inlet in each corner of left side of tank- and-2 outlet in each corner of right side. be a good idea?-i will try couple of different variations i guess, see wich works best.

You can make an above tank basking area with the smaller one.
