i wasn't sure.. they looked small compared to the filter and platform, but their color makes them seem older. how old are they btw?

She's really pretty. Just curious, but how big is she (the shell length down the back not including the curve of the shell). I have some painted hatchlings and I'm learning they grow quite a bit smaller than RES.

Has she ever been gravid?

She's 6" long. She laid 5 eggs about a month ago.

Did you incubate the eggs? Have you had her since she was a hatchling?

I put the eggs in peat moss and potting soil in a rubbermaid container and the temp. was about 85 degrees but unfortunately all the eggs seemed to dry out and collapse inward.
