I have mentioned in the past about how Sheba likes to move her big tree-root decoration around her tank (and how she always makes a big ruckus when she does it). I finally caught it on video & am sharing it with you guys! Enjoy! 8)

Haha, that's so cute. I guess she didn't like your decorating style.

I love the videos of her coming when you call her name, too!! That's awesome!

Love it!! Sheba is adorable. My boyfriend and I love watching the videos you post of her! Have you had her for most of her life? Just curious how long it takes a turtle to become that used to you!

What a riot. I think you should nickname her Sheba Queen Kong.

Hilarious! Looks like she's using the tree root for a back scratcher!

WOW! She is strong.

My turts is doing that also. I was wondering maybe their shell is itchy or they are trying to peel their old shell. Any idea why they are doing that?

That is hilarious! I love when she puts it on her back and walks it where she wants it! She is a very determined turtle. Too cute.

Thanks all! Sometimes I wonder if she is scratching her back when she does that. Who knows. She's pretty funny though....she puts the tree root under the lamp sometimes, sits in the water, and fans her back legs as if she is "basking"! One time, she was bulldozing her underwater (fluval 4+) filter in such a way where it helped give her a "boost" up the ramp. I wondered why she tipped the filter that way, then when I saw her climb up the ramp, she used the filter as a "stepping stool!"

Yes, I have had Sheba for most of her life. But her sweet personality was evident right from the start. I got her when she was already 6 inches long and I think her previous owner worked with her a lot because she is SO used to humans and very unafraid.

Her original name was "Queen Sheba". Something about her screamed "DIVA!" right from the start. LOL. I like "Sheba Queen Kong"....that's funny

Cute! Your turtle has so much personality! You can tell she really adores you in your other video's you have posted on here. It does kinda look like she is scratching her back. At first I thought she was stuck, but then I realized that she is sorta playing a game with the wood. :)
