He grew up much from last time I posted, I'm back home now.
Got a new tank for him me and my dad are working on building his basking area at the moment its a nearly 70gallon tank, 220liter almost.

It could be the pic, but that light looks awfully close to the turtle!

a male with a 70gal & A.T.B.A. should be a happy little turt :)

as Blue Flamingo said that light looks very close. if it's his heat/basking bulb it could be so hot he's drying out too much when he goes to bask, but if you have a thermometer on hand I'm sure you know how warm his dock is. and if it's his UVB I'm sure you know how far from the dock the manufacturer advised to keep the bulb from the dock. just making sure, we don't want him to fry :P hahah! regardless of the bulbs and their distances from Ichmeler, just make sure ya keep some wide screen or other lid on his tank - he looks close enough to the rim to climb out!!!
