Hey guys. Been a while since I've updated anything about my tanks. The axolotl who was living in a 35gal in my room has moved out because he was having trouble finding his food in such a big tank, and he got pecked to hell by some feeder guppies while I was at school and overnight. So temporarily, he is in a 3gallon quarantine tank to make sure he is eating well and healing. Eventually he will be moved into a 10 gallon tank and that will be his final tank.

Now, I took advantage of the new space in my room and went and grabbed the 30gallon tank I had sitting dry. So changed from a 35 tall to a regular 30 gallon.

Anyway, decided to set it up for cichlids, and here is the tank. I will eventually get some more rock to stack, and some more fish. Currently have 3 african cichlids in there, 1 Mbuna, and some mystery species so far. I need to post em up on the cichlid forum and see what species they actually are.
Tank:(Pardon the stupid thermometer, it loosened from the corner)

I can see the new post of your tank. Looks nice! That's a cool rock structure.
Too bad about Axle! It's funny, you'd think that bigger is always better, but that's not always true!

That's what I thought, but he couldn't get his pellets whatsoever. I thought he was eating some at least, but he got skinny, and then pecked by fish. That tank just wasn't working for him. Poor lil dude.

I went to the aquarium last week, and you know what?
(this is jokingly/partially your fault, chrisbarnett)
I paid no attention to the cichlids and visited the axylotls multiple times.
and they weren't even albinos like I want, they were black or natural color or whatever they're called with odd looking half-rotted mouths and they looked sad, too. yet I still want an axy. post pictures of yours doing things. please. I'm not getting mine anytime soon, I just got a crestie, I just wanna see your axy.
