So we went to Hollywood Forever, a cemetary right in the middle of hollywood where all these famous people are buried. But who cares about that because look what I found!

So they have this reflecting pool here. It's kinda run down and doesn't really reflect anymore, but it still makes a great pond!

Image
When I fist saw this, I didn't think much of it, even after noticing the wood ladders to get out of the pond.

Image
Some ducks. Their were some Geese with Hatchlings, but I didn't get pics.

Big swan

Image
So about 50ft. away from the pond, I found this girl.

Image
After taking a pic of her, she headed back towards the water...and the swan.

Image
I followed her back to the pond and then found this girl. She looks to be malenistic.

Image
And then out of the depth came......

Image
A SOFTY! I guess about 8".

Image
Some big koi with the old girl.

Image
Their were these deeper parts of the pond where the softy and larger fish swam.

Their were also lots of smaller fish(turtle food) and THOUSANDS of tadpoles. The mess around the pond you see in some pics was due to the fact that it seems that they're redoing the filtration. Across the road was a much larger pond, though it was drained, probably due to maintenance. Deeper into the cemetary they had a cage full of Peacocks. Their were 3 full grown males with the tales and 4 jubvie males. Two females were nesting. To what I understand, the juvies were hatched last year. They are let out into the cemetary during the week.

Anyway, that's all I got for you, hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for viewing!

Its the opposite of albino.

In albino animals there body doesnt produce enough melanin to give it coloring so they are white.

In melanistic animals there body is producing too much. Animal usually becomes black or very dark. Res get a weird shell its kinda white with blotches of black. In red eared sliders its seems its common for older male res to turn melanistic

Some better pics of melanistic res
