Anyone elses RES do this ? It's the first time I've ever caught Niko doing this, might have something to do from his/her old 10g temp tank with like 7g of water upgraded to the new 20g temp tank filled with about 19g of water which gives him/her more room to do just about anything.

mine do it all the time. they sleep in the weirdest positions. since i have 2, one uses the other as a pillow and they just stretch out and relax as if they wore basking. its common for me and pretty funny

As a precaution, it would be good to check the temps. If, during the day, he's frequently "basking" in the water rather than on his basking area, the basking area temp could be too warm.

Well, Niko just got a tank upgrade so everythings new to him. Including the new basking dock so he might just need an adjustment period. I do need to get a lower watt bulb though, right now the basking temps at about 100, if I recall it needs to be like 85 - 90.

Water temps ok, it's at 79 which is where I've always had it since I got Niko.
