Thanks guys. :) I was worried because his shell seems to bulge at the top. Not the scutes, the thing as a whole. we were worried he was eating to much. (he also couldn't fit all the way in but dieting fixed that). Freshprince We have only had him for roughly 2 months.

Vear: He is 5.5" have only had him for 2 months.

Res08: We bought him from petsmart. We live in MN. The Petco down the street from Petsmart has horrible looking turtles. They had like 15 turtles from 2" to 5" in a 40g tank with maybe 10g of water. The turtles had neck wounds, beat up shells. It was horrible :(

Nice - he looks so big in one of those pictures... even though mine's 6". Haha - I guess the camera adds a couple of extra "pounds".

I saw the same at a Petland Discounts near me. So many turtles, so little water. They all look so sad... :\

i loved that last picture !!!

we dont have pet shops like that here in India,

and as turtles are illegal, they are smuggled from other countries ! i still dont have any idea how they bring em here.

but the aquarium store from which i had brought akkkit n angie, they were 4 of em kept in a small tumbler having like half a glass of water :(

we got all four of em :)

me and my frnd 2 each . . . i really feel proud today , that i bought em home and taken very well care since then and they are like few of happiest RES on d earth :D
