novroz- yes and for some reason still like terrified of me, im in the same room like 3ft away from the tank everyday for hours and when i frist walk in right to the bottom corner and hides, than if i go to put food in the tank same thing, after im here for a little he will swim around but will not bask, it really bothers me

lol its easy. it takes them a while but then they get comfortable. took me a while. now they cant get enough of my hands. i dont like hand feeding them they end up biting me alot

Blackforce>> hahaha Kroten does the same thing to me...she is too eager when it comes to food. I only hand-feed her with long size veggies. on the other hand, Kame has ability to measure distance, she can even bite a 1 cm cuttlebone from my hand without biting my hand. I wish I can give you my youtube link when hand feeding her...but using mobile web has a lot of limitation

My boy prefers to eat from my hand, most of the time ends up biting me but I like it anyway.

My girl is getting used to it, too. It just takes time.
