I got a new digital camera. So I tested it out. Now ya'll can see what they look like.

I am so happy with this one:

Cane basking. God that basking dock is so ugly now...

Typhoon:

She seems to like this camera because there's no flash. I wish it wasn't as blurry though...

The water is not that murky anymore. We did a 90% water change on Sunday. I really had to fight to keep my mother from changing all the water. I refused to lose my bacteria family. Of course, we have to rebuild a little, so, there is a mild wiff of turtle pee right now.

Hehe, thanks. I worship their cuteness.

Well, because it's a 55 gallon tank! LOL XD I guess for the war on algae, yeah, 100% water changes work great, but as far as ammonia is concerned, I prefer to have my happy bactiera culture so my tank doesn't always smell like turtle pee by the end of the week.

Hell, if I were to fold myself the right way (I'm only 5 feet tall), I could fit my whole body in their tank!

Ammonia comes from turtle pee, novroz.

I would expect under ground water to be very healthy before it goes in the turtle tank.
