Yes, I've seen a lot of variations on mutations like this. Most of them die within the first months. Look at those turtles (or that turtle? since it's one piece), they're not able to swim or go anywhere if they both decide to swim/walk at the same time. It's sad.

ow how sad. I've seen the one with 2 head before...but this one is really concerning :(

turtles are magical, yes, but not a freak show by any means
that two head pic is disturbing

I agree with CassieJade. This photo is quite disturbing. Imagine how difficult life must be for those poor little guys. They probably won't live long either.

I believe this is Limerick the two-headed turtle from Captain Nemo's Aquarium Store in Pennsylvania. I see this little guy regularly and he is very much alive, healthy and doing well! He can't swim very much so they have him in an aquarium with just enough water for him to get wet. One head apparently likes pellets and the other likes crickets!

you cant purposly breed them to be like that its a bearth deformidy and it does happen in nauture

yes its not like they purposely breed them no ones going to buy a 1 thousand doallar turtle and the no eyed one is named like steve or something and they dont sell the no eyed ones it was a hatchling that came out with no eys
