I never knew a box turtle could get all dirty from them, thats cool.. do you have other box turtles? I was thinking about getting one because i read there pretty easy to take care of.

I used to have another but this one was beating the crap out of him so I had to find him another home. I didn't have room at the time for another setup.

They're relatively easy to care for. Keeping humidity high enough can be tricky and they need a fair bit of space

Ah they need high Humidity? are they strictly Greens? My uncle had a Tortus (duno what kind) that he got as a baby and that thing got to like 140 pounds and HUGE but then someone jumped the fence (he kept it in the back yard to roam free) and they stole it lol..I dont know how tho because that thing would try to bite the crap out of anyone that tried to touch it...

how do you go about having high humidity in a tank?
