to me everything looks normal but buster needs a good shed, which seems to be not far around the corner, you could feed him foods that help the shedding process if you want, i think blueberries is one of them, jozzep knows them better than i do

Thanks rsour! I wish just makin sure a good shed is all that they needed bcuz I know their skin has been shedding alot so I'm hoping their scutes are not far off the corner, I'm feeding them sweet potato and blueberries to try and speed up the process a bit

Everyone gets a clean bill of health. No fungus or anything wrong. Buster and Eugene just needs to shed

(looking thru small images in my mobile) I agree with Rsour, Eugene and Buster just need to shed, their shell look like Kroten's shell.

If I'm not mistaken, Samu has already shed his scute, right? It looks so smooth.

Samus makes me want to have an African Cooter too...his shell pattern is gorgeous. Hmm I wonder, can you crossbreed them?

yea I think samus is done his shell has been like that since I got him not too long ago maybe 2 or 3months ago, but on his plastron where his scutes meet in the middle he looks like he might shed a very thin layer, and i'm not too sure about crossbreeding.
All I know is, is that I am IN LOVE with his highlight yellow colors lol I was orginally going to name him Garbanzo like the beans bcuz culinary arts is my aspirations but when I came home my sister and my roomate had named him already :D

hehe you can always change the name before he understand his own name ;)

His color and pattern is great. It's nice to have something different than just RES

Indeed the first 2 RES need a good shed. The first layer is ready to come off, but there are several other layers that need to shed as well.
I'm not familiar with "foods" that will aid in this, but from my personal experience, a few months outside in natural sunlight (just a few hours a day) will do miracles for their shells.
I'm guessing you got the cooter as an adult already.....Correct? His plastron is smooth and he must have not been kept indoors his whole life.

Hard to guess, but i'm thinking maybe 2 or 3 years old. The other turtles are def in more need of sunlight than him since he looks perfectly healthy, so take all of them outside.

I'm just curious, what kind of UVB bulbs are you using (sorry if you already said and I missed it)? Personally I noticed a big improvement in amount of time spent basking, and proper shedding after I switched from 5.0 compact florescent to a Mercury vapor bulb.
