Decided to get to work on the inside of Cody's tank now that the ATBA, stand and filter were finished. Here's a few pics of what it looks like now. Added a few pieces of Mopani wood, some fake plants, another moss ball, some stones for under the filter. Still has the same sand and turtle decoration from before.

This one you can see the holes we drilled in the atba to help vent it a little bit.

Just a few of Cody swimming around.

Beautiful pictures, beautiful turtle, beautiful tank.. I'm planning on getting sand for my tank, but that's going to be a while from now.

Ya he seems a little camera shy. That and he must have a.d.d. or something because he will never sit still long enough for me to get a good pic lol.

How do you keep your silica sand so clean? im guessing its cause you only have 1 turtle! :)

I will say it has stayed amazingly clean. I sift it through one of those nets every now and then to get any little pieces that Cody might have left behind. But he's really a pretty clean eater and gets most of his crumbs :)
