I'm posting some pics which I think may help in the sexing of my turtle, if anyone has any clue feel free to post it. Thank you.
And I hope it was worth it because he peed all over me again, lol. His shell length is exactly 3.5 inches. And yes I measured it straight and not with the curve.

you might have a female. you can tell better when they are 4in. she is pretty

Do females hump to when they are juveniles. When I first got my little turtle statue, (s)he would hump it for minutes at a time. And not just the territorial dance thing, (s)he was actually humping it, lol.

Anybody? I am just trying to find out because for the last 6 months I have been thinking I have a male, lol. It would be funny to learn it was a female.

I think she looks female. My Pickle's nails were long by the time he was that size. Also, this is just an observation of mine and could be totally wrong, but it seems to me the females tend to have a more rounded face compared to the males. My Pickle has a "pointy-er" face. I don't know if the "humping" means anything, when my turtle gets "excited" there is NO mistaking it (his large black penis comes out of his cloaca)

Thanks guys, I guess I just assumed it was a male. I don't love her any less though. I am still wondering about the humping though, lol.

I think it might be a female also, males usually have pretty noticeably longer and thicker tails and long nails on the front. You'll know for sure once it gets bigger.

They need to 4inches to determine sex more accurately.. By my 3year exp in RES i think mostly is a female

looks female. mine looked the same way when she was young.
